This was an interesting and fun studio shoot that incorporated the direction of 4 subjects in the same shot which is a bit easier said than done.
We came into this shoot wanting a gray background that would give our final image a fashion like feeling.
In order to achieve this we shot on our white seamless and made sure there was no light hitting it thus it went that creamy gray that we were looking for.
I used one 800 watt Paul Buff Alien Bee as a key light with a one stop silk as a modifier which was barely enough spread to cover all four subjects when I added white cards to bounce more light into scene.
After about 2 hours of messing around with the lighting and composition we finally hit our mark and came up with this shot.
